Day: December 15, 2016
It’s Clawbie time! And you know what that means? Time to enthusiastically endorse some of our favouriteCanadian Law Blogs.
As we all know, the Clawbies which have been around since 2006 set out to put a spotlight on the legal blogging community in Canada. The rules: you can nominate a blog by writing a blog post or tweeting #clawbies2016 but you cannot nominate yourself.
Here are our nominations for 2016:
Created by LAWPRO, AvoidAClaim posts weekly about lawyer-targeted frauds, claims prevention and practice management.
Michael Spratt, criminal defence counsel in Ottawa, is very dedicated to the criminal justice system and writes thoughtful opinion pieces about politics, police brutality and racism, drug law in Canada, etc.
Run by the library staff at the County of Carleton Law Association, Robeside Assistance provides posts on legal resources and research, recent Ottawa decisions, Throwback Thursday and much more.
Happy nominating from all the staff at the Law Society Library!
