Benchers’ Digest Fall 2016 Issue Is Now Available!

Our theme this fall is Innovation, and do we have a great issue of the Benchers’ Digest for you! From therapeutic courts with the Honourable Judge C.C. Toth to what Pro Bono is doing to reach the farthest corners of the province, the Law Society brings you some great feature articles and hot topics to get you thinking about some of the ways the legal profession is changing and evolving. Don’t miss our fond farewell to our Executive Director, Tom Schonhoffer, QC, as he leaves us for other opportunities. We’ve got updates to some key regulation issues, as well as a look at the new Locum Registry. And so much more!

A special feature this issue is Saskatchewan Book Publishing Week from September 12 to 18, with a complementary article about one of the province’s best-known publishing houses saying goodbye after 24 years in the business of legal and social justice publishing. Purich Publishing duo Karen Bolstad and Don Purich were generous enough to tell us all about their experience and what lies ahead.

Like I said, it is a great issue, and you can read it all here. Enjoy.
