The Fall issue of the Benchers’ Digest will be focussing on the theme of Innovation. We invited you all to join us in a friendly game of scrabble against the Law Society Library Staff by submitting words relating to innovation.

We began the game by placing the word INNOVATION on the board, starting the Law Society library off with 15 points.

We put the call out to our members in the Summer issue of the Benchers’ Digest asking them to send us their Scrabble words relating to innovation. And we got a lot of great answers!

scrabble2The word NOVELTY was chosen for a massive 27 points! The LSSL had to think long and hard about which word we could add to the board and we’ve decided to go with GROWTH for 34 points. The standings are as follows:

LSS Members: 27 points
LSSL Staff: 49 points

We are now putting the call out for the next word to put on the board. Please send us your words related to innovation by June 8th via Facebook, Twitter, commenting on this blog post, or by emailing publications@lawsociety.sk.ca.

Stay tuned to Legal Sourcery each week to play!

Who’s up for a friendly Scrabble Battle?

Greenfields – placed vertically, utilizing the second “i” in Innovation. Now, back to my pre-trial brief.
