The Government of Saskatchewan provides a variety helpful publications regarding adoption on its website?  Yesterday, we posted about two new adoption publications.

Members of the public will find the numerous factsheets posted here provide a reliable point-form overview of adoption laws in Saskatchewan.  If you have a basic question about adoption, we encourage you to check out these factsheets first:

Those searching for a more thorough exploration of adoption laws in Saskatchewan should consult the reference guides posted on the website:

Lawyers will find the Adoption Legal Requirements Guide and the Adoption Services Manual particularly relevant.  These guides are intended to assist lawyers working in the area of adoption law.  The website also features a collection of fillable checklists that lawyers may find helpful to use.

Additional information about adoption in Saskatchewan can be found online at the Adoption Support Centre of Saskatchewan, Saskatchewan.ca, and the Public Legal Education Association of Saskatchewan (PLEA).  If you are familiar with any additional adoption law resources, please contact us.

If you have any questions, ask a Law Society Librarian! We are pleased to provide high-quality legal research services to Saskatchewan members in person, on the telephone, or by email.
