CALL Conference 2015

Posted on Updated on

Melanie Hodges Neufeld and Natalie Wing co-host a session on the Self Represented Litigants Challenge  at the CALL Conference. This session examines how libraries are one of the tools available to self represented litigants (SRLs). The presentation includes a consideration of the services that libraries can provide to SRLs, the importance of access to legal information, challenges in serving SRLs, and possible new approaches to providing services to SRLs. The session also makes reference to recent reports on A2J and how they relate to libraries, including the National Self Represented Litigants Project Report, the CBA Access to Justice Committee Report and the AALL Special Committee Report on Access to Justice.
